At UPLIFT CRANES (NSW) P/L  our Occupational Health, Safety and Rehabilitation Policy is based on a belief that the well being of people employed at work, or people affected by our work, is a major priority and must be considered during all work performed on our behalf.

People are our most important asset and their health and safety is our greatest responsibility. The public shall be given equal priority to that of our employees.

The objectives of our Safety Policy are:
To achieve an accident free work place
To make Health and Safety an integral part of every managerial and supervisory position.
To ensure health & safety is considered in all planning and work activities.
To involve our employees in the decision making processes through regular communication consultation and training.
To provide a continuous program of education and learning to ensure that our employees work in the safest possible manner.
To identify and control all potential hazards in the workplace through hazard identification and risk analysis.
To ensure all potential accidents/incidents are identified, prevented or controlled.
To provide effective injury management and rehabilitation for all employees.
The success of our health & safety is dependent on:
Pro-active planning of all work activities with due consideration given to implementing OH&S controls that are suitable to each given situation.
Understanding the total work process and associated OH&S risks.
Ensuring the work team is totally committed to achieving our objectives.

OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY STATEMENT

It is the firm policy of UPLIFT CRANES (NSW) P/L that all working activities will be undertaken with all reasonable measures taken to avoid risks to the health and safety of employees and any person who may be effected.

The management of UPLIFT CRANES (NSW) P/L  are responsible for implementing this policy throughout.  The company will, so far as is reasonably practicable ensure the health and safety considerations will always be integrated into planning work procedures and day to day supervision of work.

All employees, subcontractors and other authorised personnel on construction sites and company premises will be required to co-operate with the company in carrying out this policy, and they must ensure that their own work so far as is reasonable practicable, is carried out without risks to themselves or other persons.

The operation of this policy and identification of safety training requirement will be monitored by the Crane Manager with special responsibility of health and safety.

The company safety Policy is based on a conviction that the well-being of people employed by the company must be one of the major considerations in all operations, “People are our most important asset and their Safety is one of our greatest Responsibilities”.

Safety is a paramount consideration in every decision and plan.

Safety must be an integral part of every managerial and supervisory position.

The goals of our safety plan are both humanitarian and economic.  It is our duty to observe it.  It is also true that a good safety record is clear evidence of good management.

Accidents can be prevented.  Every level of management and employees must accept this premise and with it, the challenge to reduce accidents and incidents to zero.  We will actively demonstrate our commitment to occupation health and safety.
